EYEWEAR

Eyewear is a statement of style, image, grace and fun. The wearing of glasses is something many people need to do every day. Our philosophy is, if you're going to have to wear something everyday, for everyone else to see, you need to be sure that it looks good and makes you feel good.

Consider this: How much did you pay for your last suit or business outfit? How often do you wear it? Glasses are something you wear everyday. Eyewear doesn't have to be expensive, but make sure that you don't sell yourself short by settling on a pair that is not what you want or may not be made of the best quality materials.

In today's business and social world, appearances are important. When we assist a patient in the selection of frames and lenses, we do so as if our reputation for dispensing quality eyewear is riding on it. Because it is!

Besides having a huge selection of exclusive eyewear, including frames from DKNY, Gucci, Ralph Lauen, Chloe, Max Mara, Via Spiga, Dolce & Gabbana, BC BG, and Bebe, we also offer the finest in lens services, as well.

How long does it take to make a pair of glasses?

There is one thing we will guarantee to you. We will not have your glasses ready in one hour.

We are focused on providing the highest level of quality at a reasonable cost. This cannot be done in an hour. It typically takes a week to properly manufacture, test, and inspect the lenses and frames we provide to our patients.

Why don't we make eyeglasses in an hour?

There is time involved in grinding and edging the lenses, but certain other procedures must be performed as well. The proper methods involved to provide additional scratch resistance, proper tinting, special coatings, edge polishing, and fashionable mounting techniques take time as well.

We use outside laboratories to provide our patients with the best quality. These laboratories focus specifically on making eyeglasses and are able to provide superior results. If the glasses are incorrect, we send them back - the patient doesn't have to worry about it. Also, most patients don’t have the instrumentation or training to properly inspect their eyeglasses. This is best left to the trained professional.

The Benefit to You

The one-week period allows us the time to have the lenses properly fabricated to match your visual requirements. By carefully inspecting the lenses and frames supplied by the outside laboratory, we insure the integrity for our patients.

Not only do our patients get higher quality frames, they also get better prices. The "one hour" stores usually charge 50% to 100% more for frames and lenses than private offices. They are solely focused on speed - and their high overhead means they charge you more.
